The Golf Hotel Bar in Crail

The Golf Hotel’s bar has been there since 1721 and retains its original style, with a traditional low beamed ceiling, wooden floor and a roaring fire in winter. A good mixture of tourists and locals gives the bar an intimate and friendly atmosphere, and occasional live music nights fill the room with songs and laughter.

This renowned free house serves a good selection of Scottish beer: Deuchars IPA, Belhaven Best, 60, 70 and 80/- and Scottish Courage ales. Guinness is available, along with draught lagers including Tennents, Carlsberg and Heineken. An excellent wine list and malt whisky selection reflect the truly international appeal of this bar.
