Directions by car
From Edinburgh, Glasgow and the South cross the Forth Road bridge by the A90, continuing on to the M90. Take the exit for Kirkcaldy, following the A92. At Kirkcaldy join the A915 heading for Leven. Finally follow the A917 to Crail.

From Inverness and Perth follow the A913 to Cupar, then the B940 to Crail.

From Aberdeen and Dundee, cross the Tay Bridge, then take the A91 to St Andrews, followed by the A917 to Crail.

Airports
There is an airport at Dundee, 23 miles from Crail, offering Air France City Jet flights to and from London. Otherwise, Edinburgh International Airport is just an hour away by car and is very well served by both domestic and international flights.
