The Golf Hotel
Crail is on the A917 in the county of Fife on the east coast of Scotland, 10 miles from St Andrews, 4 miles from of Anstruther and about 40 miles from Edinburgh. The Golf Hotel is in the High Street in the centre of Crail, and is easily found when travelling through. Please click here for more a map of the area. Directions by car From Edinburgh, Glasgow and the South, head for the Forth Road Bridge, just north of Edinburgh, and cross over into Fife on the M90. Take exit 2a, signposted Kirkcaldy, and follow the A92 to the ‘Kirkcaldy East’ roundabout, and take the third exit onto the A915, signposted to Leven. Follow the A917 to Crail (via Pittenweem and Anstruther). From Inverness and Perth follow the A913 to Cupar, then the B940 to Crail. From Aberdeen and Dundee, cross the Tay Bridge and take the A91 to St Andrews, then the A917 to Crail. Rail link Crail is 15 miles from Leuchars railway station on the main line between London and Aberdeen, which is well serviced by east coast trains. Taxis are available at the station, or a bus takes you a short journey to St Andrews to connect with a bus to Crail. Airports There is an airport at Dundee, 23 miles from Crail, offering Air France City Jet flights to and from London. Edinburgh Airport is an hour away by car.
