The hotel is a 300 year old Scottish Inn serving a great selection of Scottish Beer, Malt Whisky and has an extensive drinks list. The hotel and especially our public bar has many original features including beams and stonework. Our bar provides a great atmosphere with an genuine Scottish welcome.
The Golf Hotel was home to Crail Golfing Society before the relocation to its present building and is one of Scotland’s oldest licensed inns with Crail being the 7th Oldest Golf Society in the world. The two courses Balcomie Links and Craighead Links, are only a 2-minute drive from our door.
We can offer you a minimum 3 night package based on two sharing an ensuite Twin or Double room. There is free WIFI throughout. Our private residents lounge with Sky television offers complimentary tea or coffee.

Parking is available in our private car park to the rear, alternatively we are a minutes’ walk to the nearest bus stop to St Andrews which is approx. 30 minutes travel.
We serve fresh local produce, including Crab, Lobster and Haddock to name a few. Our butcher provides us with the best quality steaks and burgers and our greengrocer with home grown seasonal produce.
In order to secure your reservation 50 % is payable on booking (this is non-refundable) balance is due 12 weeks prior to your stay.
